Larry James Curry was the oldest of three children born to the late Reverend Willie James Curry and the late Mrs. Eva Mae Curry in Dothan, AL on August 12, 1947. Larry accepted Christ at an early age. He received his elementary and high school education in the public schools of Dothan. After graduating from Carver High School, Larry enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country. After Larry’s military service, he took residence in Dothan, AL and later moved to Nashville, TN. He enjoyed his life by spending time with family and friends. After a tragic house fire, Larry relocated to Alabama to be near family. Larry left this earthly vessel on Monday, March 1, 2021 in the evening. He was preceded in death by his parents, and younger brother (Gregory Curry). Left to cherish fond memories of his famous one liners and loving heart are his sister, Julie Curry; sister-in-law, Barbara Curry; two nephews, Louis (Delitra) Harrigan and Jeffrey Curry; one niece, Renita Harrigan; one great niece, Alyxandria Harrigan; two great nephews, Azaniah Harrigan and Josiah Harrigan; and a host of other family and friends.
